Join Our Team as a Ticket Office Clerk (Part time) at  Stansted Airport

Role Details  

  • You will be working an average of 18 hours per week. Shifts will take place between 05:45 am and 00.30 am, including a combination of early, late and weekend. 
  • You must be able to arrange your own transport to ensure timely arrival for early and late shifts. Full training and a uniform are provided upon joining. 
  • Please note that applicants must be 18 years of age or older. 
  • It is a requirement that candidates can reliably travel to and from their agreed booking location at the scheduled times.  
  • Full uniform will be provided to ensure that you embrace our values as a brand   

The Role  

 This role will involve you supporting our customers by assisting them with using our ticket machines based around the station, as well as guiding our customers on new ticketing technology such as the smart card, and use of our mobile phone app etc.  

  • Primary responsibilities include greeting customers, selling tickets, and addressing customer inquiries, emphasizing a customer service-oriented approach with a friendly demeanor. 
  • Support customers in using ticket machines located throughout the station and provide guidance on new ticketing technologies, including smart cards and mobile apps. 
  • Ensure adherence to safety, security, and cash regulations while maintaining ticket machines. 
  • Utilise company systems such as Fujitsu Star (ticket office sales machine) and Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs). .

  • Have familiarity using new technology such as smartphones to assist customers.
