About the Role

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating and optimising all agreed work activities within the section to ensure safe, efficient and compliant delivery. You will produce Safe Systems of Work, submit green zone access and isolation requests, and develop draft quarterly plans to support short- and medium-term operational objectives. A key part of the role involves managing weekly Plan-Do-Review meetings and representing Section Managers at planning meetings, ensuring clear communication and effective stakeholder engagement.

You will also be accountable for maintaining high-quality records by accurately updating systems, databases and infrastructure maintenance documentation. Through careful collation and management of planning and maintenance records, you will support informed decision-making, performance monitoring and continuous improvement across the section.

This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Temporary Contract.

Salary – Circa £25,409

Grade – Band 5 (Role Clarity Contract)

Experience and Skills

Essential

  • Work Plan production and resource optimisation skills
  • Scheduling profile in work planning/scheduling system
  • Core Planning Skills Level 2
  • Knowledge of access and possession processes and systems
  • Safe System of Work Planning Process and System
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

Desirable

  • Knowledge of maintenance delivery processes and techniques
