We are looking for a Resource Coordinator as part of our operations delivery team.

Role Overview: Resource Coordinator

The Resource Coordinators are responsible for planning, allocating and delivering rosters for East Midlands Railway employees.

Key Responsibilities

The Resource Coordinator will also:

  • Ensure rostering is completed in line with East Midlands Railway safety standards and within the parameters laid down in business conditions and local agreements.
  • Provide a consistent high-level standard of rostering which is required to run a professional and successful business.
  • Ensure all resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Ensure that rosters are prepared in advance
  • Produce reports as required by the Resource Centre Manager.
  • Monitor annual leave levels of Staff and provide timely and proactive reports on utilisation.

About You

You will thrive on a challenge and be able to work to tight timescales with the ability to problem solve to achieve your goal. You will be a great communicator with an excellent telephone manner and the confidence to work with colleagues from across the business. We are looking for someone with strong IT skills with the ability to train on an internal system. Rail experience is not essential as we welcome applications from candidates with varied experience within environments that require excellent organisation and planning.
