About the Role

You will need strong customer service skills and excellent interpersonal abilities. You should be able to build positive relationships with people at all levels, including customers and the wider community.

Job Purpose

Increase passenger and employee confidence by reducing low-level crime and anti-social behaviour. You will patrol trains and stations independently and as part of a team. You will also collaborate with other departments and external agencies, including the police, to ensure the security of our railway and deter crime, anti-social behaviour, and fare evasion. You will respond to emergencies and provide assistance to GTR personnel, police, and other emergency services as needed. A key part of the role involves engaging with GTR customers to raise safety and security awareness and improve customer satisfaction.
