EMR is committed to providing a safe, fair and reliable railway for our customers. We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Prosecutions Administrator to support our Fraud and Prosecutions Team in tackling fare evasion and protecting revenue across the network.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing sensitive information and delivering excellent customer service.

What you’ll be doing

As a Prosecutions Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the administration of prosecution and fraud case management processes in line with EMR policies and relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing incoming mail and issuing correspondence including reminder letters and notices
  • Handling telephone payments in accordance with EMR cash handling regulations
  • Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email
  • Liaising with legal teams regarding court hearings and prosecution cases
  • Processing penalty fare appeals and maintaining accurate databases
  • Managing scanning, filing and secure archiving of documentation
  • Providing administrative support to the Fraud Team and wider Revenue Protection teams
  • Taking confidential minutes for management meetings
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR, EMR Safety Standards and sustainability commitments

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong administrative experience

  • A professional and confident telephone manner
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong IT and data entry skills
  • The ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism

A legal or prosecutions background would be advantageous but is not essential.

Why join EMR?

In return, EMR offers a supportive working environment, opportunities for development and the chance to be part of a team making a real impact across the business.
