Why This Role?
This is a key operational leadership role where you’ll take control of depot movements and lead a small team in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment. No two shifts are the same.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing and coordinating all rolling stock movements within the depot
- Leading, motivating and supporting a high-performing operational team
- Ensuring all activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to plan
- Building strong relationships across teams to keep operations running smoothly
What You’ll Bring
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and decision-making ability
- Experience in rail or a similar safety-critical environment
- A proactive, calm approach in a dynamic operational setting
- Flexibility to work shift patterns (early, late and nights)
