Vacancy Details

Duration: Fixed Term Contract until October 2027

Location: This role is based in London Waterloo.

This role is a full-time opportunity, flexible working patterns will be considered.

Band & Salary: Band 5 £27,000 – £29,000

About the role

What does the average day look like?

In this role, you’ll work closely with HR Business Partners to deliver high-quality HR support across a range of activities. Your day may include:

  • Supporting talent management, workforce planning and succession planning processes
  • Assisting with organisational change programmes from development through to implementation
  • Providing project support, including tracking and reporting on HR initiatives
  • Producing analysis, reports and insights to inform decision-making
  • Conducting research and helping develop solutions to improve HR service delivery
  • Supporting a range of operational HR activities and administrative processes

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a proactive, organised and detail-focused individual with a passion for HR. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, building strong relationships and contributing to meaningful HR initiatives.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working in a large, complex organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • IT literate with strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Analytical and research capability
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience supporting HR initiatives or projects
  • Resilient, adaptable and flexible approach
  • Strong relationship-building skills

Desirable Criteria

  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience
  • Graduate calibre
  • Experience of event coordination or facilitation
