Fraud Control Officer – Hove

Exciting opportunity to recruit a Fraud Control Officer based at Hove.

We are looking for someone who can deliver excellent levels of customer service whilst carrying out the difficult task of reducing ticketless travel and fraud within the GTR network. You will be expected to identify, investigate and resolve the many different types of fraud committed within the rail industry.

This exciting role will be conducting interviews of suspects, making notes, preparing and submitting reports along with attending court as and when required.

Required Experience:

  • Good knowledge of Penalty Fare Regulations, Railway Byelaws, 1889 Regulation of Railways Act, Theft and Forgery Act, Fraud Act 2006.
  • A high standard of computer literacy, with the ability to analyze and manipulate data in Excel to calculate fraudulent activity.
  • Ability to lone work, keeping to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work closely with other key stakeholders within the business.
