We’re looking for a Welcome Host for our London St Pancras station.

About the role

As a Customer Welcome Host, you will work on our gatelines; ensuring customers are travelling on the correct ticket. Customer Welcome Hosts can often be the first point of contact for customers and provide them with help and information. Customer Welcome Hosts also play an important part in security searches of the station too.

Key responsibilities of the role include;

  • Greeting customers at the gate and directing them to where they’re going
  • Checking customer train tickets as they pass through the gate
  • Delivering outstanding levels of service to our customers, always
  • Providing customers with advice and guidance as necessary
  • Supporting on the platform when required to assist passengers

You will be required to work shifts including some evenings and weekends. Offers made to successful candidates are also subject to satisfactory completion of a medical assessment, including drugs and alcohol screening.

About You

As a Customer Welcome Host, you will be the face of #TeamEMR at the station, so we are looking for candidates with positive energy, a can-do attitude and strong work ethic to join our fantastic team.

You’ll be a great match for this role if you can show us that you’re customer-focussed, proactive and positive. Previous experience in a customer facing role would be advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided to successful candidates.
