We are seeking a Business Continuity Manager to join our team based from our Head Office in London Bridge (hybrid working). 

The Business Continuity Manager is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining an ISO 22301‑aligned Business Continuity Management System to ensure the organisation can respond to and recover from disruption. Working across operational and frontline teams, the role embeds business continuity into daily operations and strategic decision‑making, delivering plans, exercises and assurance processes that strengthen resilience. This role ensures continuity arrangements are tested, improved and integrated with wider risk, emergency and operational resilience activities to protect people, services and customers during disruption.

What you’ll do

  • Establish, implement and maintain the organisation’s Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 22301.
  • Develop and maintain the organisation’s Business Continuity Policy, framework and governance arrangements, ensuring clear accountability across the business.
  • Lead Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessment processes to identify critical activities, dependencies, recovery priorities and potential disruption scenarios.
  • Develop, maintain and regularly review business continuity plans, ensuring that all critical functions have appropriate recovery arrangements.
  • Design and deliver an exercise and testing programme to validate business continuity plans and ensure organisational preparedness.
  • Lead the review and continuous improvement of continuity arrangements through post-incident reviews, lessons learned and assurance activity.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and operational teams on business continuity planning and organisational resilience.
  • Develop and deliver training and awareness programmes to ensure leaders and teams understand their responsibilities within the BCMS.
  • Monitor emerging risks and organisational changes to ensure continuity arrangements remain effective and aligned with business needs.
  • Maintain documentation, records and assurance evidence required to demonstrate compliance with ISO 22301 and internal governance requirements.

  • Organisational Resilience You develop and maintain robust business continuity plans that enable the organisation to respond effectively to incidents.
  • Risk & Impact Understanding You lead business impact analysis and risk assessment activities to identify vulnerabilities and prioritise resilience actions.
  • Assurance & Continuous Improvement You ensure the BCMS is tested, reviewed and continuously improved through exercises, audits and lessons learned.
  • Collaboration & Capability You build capability across the organisation by supporting leaders and teams to understand their roles in maintaining business continuity.
